My customer experience has been with Noelette of Kinkology. I have had locs since 2003 and I am very loyal when I find a loctician that is great in Atlanta because most people who work with locs are primarily doing it as an organized hustle and lack sufficient knowledge of what they are doing. Noelette is only my third loctician in the almost 20 years I have lived in Atlanta. This includes a very regrettable year where I went to Shea Locs😔 that I don’t count because it was always a different person there. Out of the consistent three locticians I have had, Noelette stands head and shoulders above the other two. She is a consummate professional and never gets complacent about the importance of being professional and communicates wellwith her customers. This very likely is a result of her decades of experience in the hair styling industry via companies like Super Cuts. She is first loctician I have met who has actually engaged in an academic study of human hair science. As a result, she is very knowledgeable about hair of all types and extremely knowledgeable about the hair of African descended people. At the same time, she is very down to earth and can be a great conversationalist if you like talking to your stylist during the appointment. She can also easily focus on her craft without conversation as well if you are not a talker. Noellette also has the most diverse skill set compared to other locticians. In addition to maintenance, she is a very creative and knowledgeable when it comes to styling and coloring locs and is very handy with clippers. Her attention to detail is also remarkable compared to most in her profession. Her prices are reasonable, considering the quality of service. If other locticians are letting you down or you want to try someone new, I highly recommend Noelette at Kinkology and Natural Hair Care....more
