Service is styling-only — no shampoo or deep cleanse is included. If you need a wash, book a separate cleansing appointment or add it beforehand. Hair should arrive clean and dry for best curl formation with pipecleaners and efficient styling.

Detangle and lightly moisturize beforehand; avoid heavy oils, gels or wetting hair. Arrive with dry, well-separated Sisterlocks to allow precise pipecleaner wrapping. If you prefer a wash at the salon, schedule a separate cleansing service prior to styling.

Humidity and rain can relax pipecleaner-set curls faster, but proper drying and nightly protection extend hold. Apply lightweight setting spray, fully air or blow-dry set curls before leaving, and sleep on satin to reduce frizz and maintain shape.
